About BristolGambit

Football fans who do the homework so you don't have to. Independent, UKGC-focused, always 18+.

What We Do — and Why

BristolGambit exists because the UK sportsbook market is vast, its promotional language is dense, and most comparison sites are paid to put one operator at the top. We are not. Every ranking on this site is the product of independent research against our six-axis scoring framework. We receive a commission when a reader signs up through one of our links — that revenue funds our work, but it never determines which operator ranks where.

Our editorial focus is Premier League football betting. We assess odds quality, in-running market depth, cashout reliability, payment speed, responsible-gambling tooling, and the legibility of promotional terms. Operators are re-evaluated quarterly; any significant product change triggers an interim review.

We are not a wagering operator, a payment processor, or an agent of any bookmaker. We do not accept money from operators to influence our editorial verdicts. Affiliate links are marked with sponsored/noopener attributes in our HTML, and every comparison page carries a prominent affiliate disclosure above the operator table.

Editorial Standards

Independence. No operator pays for position in our rankings. Affiliate commissions fund running costs and are disclosed on every page that contains operator links.

Accuracy. UKGC licence numbers are verified directly against the Gambling Commission's public register before publication. We do not fabricate regulatory data. Operator scores are recalculated on a rolling quarterly cycle; interim updates are published whenever a material product change is detected.

Responsible gambling. BristolGambit will not publish content that glamorises excessive wagering or targets vulnerable individuals. Every page carrying operator links includes a responsible-gambling notice and a direct link to the GamCare national helpline (0808 8020 133). We observe the Gambling Commission's guidance on advertising to under-18s and embed age-gate verification on every page of this site.

Corrections. If you believe any factual claim on this site is inaccurate, contact us and we will investigate. Verified corrections are published within five business days.
